Dr. Brian Smith

Dr. Smith received his medical degree from Duke University in Durham, NC in 2000. He then moved to Chicago where he completed a residency in Family Medicine at West Suburban Medical Center. He joined the faculty of the residency program and worked for several years prior to moving to Kentucky in 2007. He opened the doors of Versailles Family Medicine in April of that same year and has maintained a thriving private practice in Woodford County since then, expanding to adding an office Midway in 2015.

Elizabeth Watts PA-C

Elizabeth received her bachelor's degree from Denison University in Athletic Training in 2003. She then went on to receive a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky in 2007 and has worked with Versailles Family Medicine since September 2007. A few interests of hers include pediatrics and using her Spanish speaking skills with patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan and their two daughters, Cooper and Carsyn, as well as traveling and swimming.

Sammi Nichols APRN

Sammi Nichols joined Versailles Family Medicine in September of 2016. She received her Bachelors of Nursing degree from the University of South Carolina in 2009 and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 2016. In between this time Sammi enjoyed her career as an RN working outside of Washington DC in the ER and Oncology departments. She eventually moved back to KY where she worked in the ER at the University of Kentucky until joining our team.
