Contested in Omaha since 1950 some of the greatest names in baseball have competed at old Rosenblatt Stadium and since 2011 at TD Ameritrade Park located in downtown Omaha. President George W Bush, Buster Posey, Barry Bonds, Terry Francona, Todd Helton, Robin Ventura, Dave Winfield, Jason Varitek, Roger Clemens, Nomar Garciaparra plus many other’s.....have all played ball at the College World Series!!

Southern Mississippi Coach Corky Palmer on the Golden Eagles first trip to Omaha: Palmer doesn’t think his team will have butterflies when they take the field for the first time Sunday against Texas, the top seed.
“Some guys don’t know where they’re at, and I’m not going to wake them up,” Palmer said.
“You see teams grow inning to inning,” Garrido said. “By the time Fresno won the Championship last year they’d gone from being normal people to immortals.”
